Pastoring a church is far from easy with the demands of the congregation, the long hours, and the Accuser working overtime to bring you down. Add in the spiritual expectations from others as well as yourself and you have a  recipe for burnout. Often times Pastors get so busy working at the church that they forget what it is that God created them to do and be. Their identity gets wrapped up in the doing, instead of abiding (being) with Christ. We have also found that Pastors are some of the loneliest people in the church. Everyone knows the public persona, but very rarely does a pastor have close personal friends who truely know him/her. We want to help you rediscover the real you, the you that God created, your Gospel Identity. Only by living in this identity can you begin to love and be loved. We have helped many Pastors find their way back to the place where the live and serve out of the power of the Holy Spirit and not the influence of the flesh.
