Individual Coaching

Coaching in the Christian context is knowing an individual and helping to communicate a view of who they are from the Father’s perspective instead of the Accuser’s. It’s someone who loves you without strings attached and helps you to apply your life in each of its varied seasons, to the gospel narrative. It is someone with experience and insight, but more than that, someone with the gift of discernment and the patience to wait on the Holy Spirit for the deepest answers needed for miraculous Spirit led transformation.

Our role is to understand your story and context, then help you see how God has uniquely created you to live within this story. We all need coaching at times to help us see the areas of our life that are holding us back from becoming the best version of ourselves. Just as a professional sports player needs continued coaching, so do we need someone to see things in a different light and through s different lens. Personal Coaching is designed to help you discover the best version of yourself and then equip you with the Gospel narrative that will fuel your newly discovered identity.

Marriage Coaching

Our marriage and pre-marriage coaching focuses on the two areas we have found to be vitally important. One area is each individual’s gospel identity - understanding specifically who God created you to be and learning how your flesh fights against your redeemed nature. Understanding each other’s gospel identities is extremely important for loving appropriately and encouraging to each other upward and forward toward the Lord.

Our other focus is God’s idea of marriage. His original intentions for husband and wife are quite different than what has traditionally been thought and taught. We work to understand the original marriage design in the context of the gospel. When the nature of God’s design for marriage begins to overtake the wounded and broken version, real life-giving love starts taking over, and couples begin to experience marriage like they never thought possible.
